Family dynamics can be difficult, particularly during the holiday season. As part of its Living Well Wednesday series, K-State Research and Extension Regional family and consumer sciences specialist JoEllyn Argabright and Chisholm Trail District family and youth development agent Tristen Cope, are hosting a webinar on December 8th that focuses on communicating effectively with family members to reduce stress, creating an inclusive environment and making the most of the holiday season. They provide a preview of the webinar, including methods for connecting with family members – near and far – and tools to add to your toolbox to reduce stress through the holidays.
Sound Living is a weekly public affairs program addressing issues related to families and consumers. It is hosted by Jeff Wichman. Each episode shares the expertise of K-State specialists in fields such as child nutrition, food safety, adult development and aging, youth development, family resource management, physical fitness and more.
