The American Psychological Association recently released a report on the COVID-19 pandemic and mental health. According to their survey, 82% said they never imagined the pandemic would last this long. In addition, 49% said they feel uneasy about adjusting to in-person interaction once the pandemic ends. As vaccination numbers increase, Kansas State University associate professor in the College of Health and Human Services, Elaine Johannes, says Americans are nearing pandemic re-entry and recovery.
