A survey by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that just over one-third of adults consume fast food on a given day. Convenience was the number one reason given for eating fast food. However, with a little planning, K-State Research and Extension nutrition specialist Sandy Procter says those fast food trips can be reduced. In addition, when fast food is the only option, she says we can still make healthy choices.
