A survey commissioned by the National 4-H Council said more than 7 in 10 kids between the ages of 13 and 19 are struggling with mental health, and that they are feeling more pressured to hide their feelings, rather than talk to a supportive adult. K-State Research and Extension youth development specialist Elaine Johannes and Kansas 4-H state leader Wade Weber discuss the findings of the survey and how the findings can be used to help teens.
